Legacy Giving is Legacy Building: Donate in Your Will

By leaving a gift to Future Black Female in your Will, you ensure that future generations of Black girls and women (ages 16–22) have the tools to lead. Your support directly funds our strong networks, career advancement training, and rights-based advocacy, empowering them to take charge of their education, careers, and civic engagement. Your planned gifts are vital to strengthening and sustaining our community-focused mission.

5 Reasons to Leave Future Black Female a Legacy Gift:

1. Create a Legacy of Empowerment

By leaving a gift to Future Black Female, you ensure that your impact continues long after you are gone. Your legacy becomes part of building an equitable future where Black girls and women thrive socially, economically, and politically.

2. Invest in the Next Generation

Future Black Female is a youth employer and leadership incubator. Bequests directly support education, mental wellbeing, and financial literacy programs that prepare Black youth to become the next generation of innovators, community leaders, and changemakers.

3. Address Systemic Inequities

Gifts in wills help sustain programs that confront systemic racism, gender-based violence, and economic exclusion. Supporting this work is a tangible act of justice and solidarity.

4. Strengthen Community Resilience

Future Black Female builds networks of mentorship, safety, and belonging. Contributions ensure that future generations have access to culturally relevant mental health supports, safe community spaces, and pathways to meaningful employment.

5. Ensure Sustainable Impact

Planned giving allows Future Black Female to plan long-term initiatives such as the Black Youth Digital Innovation Hub and the UDADA mental health cooperative. It ensures that donors’ values live on through real, measurable change.

This is not charity, it is nation-building.
Together, we will build a new innovation economy that finally includes the talent it has overlooked.

Future Black Female, with head offices in St Catharines, Niagara Region, would like to acknowledge the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. Today, the home to many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples is home to us too. We acknowledge the sacrifices made, forced and freely, by the Indigenous peoples of Canada in the formation of the country we call our home. As we acknowledge their continued contributions and their presence and ours upon this land, we are committed to being responsive to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and to our relationship with Indigenous peoples.
