  1. The Power of Storytelling: Authenticity, Resilience & Self-Advocacy

Release Limiting Beliefs, Embrace Authenticity and Trust the Voice Within

The world that we live in today wasn't created to treat all people fairly and was not set up to allow us all to thrive to the same degree. Your story and your life have the potential to be a journey of self-discovery, adventure, and alignment with your true path if you take a step back and figure out what your strengths and power points are. In this workshop:

  • Uncover and release limiting beliefs

  • Embrace your authentic self

  • Build a deep trust in your inner voice.

Through self-reflection and guided writing prompts, you’ll learn how to process and express your emotions with greater clarity, cultivate self-awareness, and find a renewed sense of purpose and direction. This is your opportunity to unleash creativity, challenge self-imposed limitations, and step fully into the power of your authentic self.

Future Black Female, with head offices in St Catharines, Niagara Region, would like to acknowledge the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum agreement. Today, the home to many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples is home to us too. We acknowledge the sacrifices made, forced and freely, by the Indigenous peoples of Canada in the formation of the country we call our home. As we acknowledge their continued contributions and their presence and ours upon this land, we are committed to being responsive to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and to our relationship with Indigenous peoples.
