We have partnered with Suitcase in Point to facilitate mental health workshops that inspire the Black Girl to express her struggles and triumphs through theatre. Each workshop takes you deeper on a journey to self discovery to unmask the artist within.

FBF is hosting the third roundtable for Niagara Region’s service providers to explore ways in which the programs and services they offer can be more culturally relevant and responsive to the specific needs of the Black community.

Black Girls Glamping

The Future Black Female Summer Camp will focus on FBF’s three pillars of wellbeing: Mental Health; Financial Literacy; and Career and Education Pathways. The program will incorporate an understanding of Black, Indigenous, People of Colour (BIPOC) female experiences; mental health prevention and treatment; financial wellbeing; social justice; gaining employment and charting a future career. All while enjoying beautiful surroundings, scrumptious meals, and each other.

This conference will provide strategies for equity and inclusion of Black female youth in the workforce and make sure their careers begin in nurturing environments where they are empowered to make meaningful contributions.
